Make sure you sign up with and verify your college email to be eligible for prizes!
HackTrinity is a beginner-intermediate capture the flag or "CTF" competition for university students, by university students!
What's a CTF? Glad you asked! A CTF is a security or "hacking" competition where contestants solve challenges in categories like Web, Cryptography, Reverse Engineering and Forensics to get "flags". A flag is a short piece of text, a bit like a password, that you find by solving a challenge. For example, if the challenge description provided some text encoded with some sort of cipher, successful decoding would usually result in the flag text.
HackTrinity will start at 12.00 on Monday the 16th of March and run through until 23:59 on Sunday the 22nd. The scoreboard will freeze 2 hours before the end.
